What would encourage me to make a return visit to the web site.

There are many reasons why it will make me return or access to the web page in future. First of all, the whole design very attractive me because the web site are using light color as their background and it would not interrupt me when I read through the information. Besides that, it also provide many article or information about beauty and health and it also will recommends which kind of skin care products is most suitable to different kind of skin. Furthermore, it will always update new information so the users can get the latest information when access to that web page. Lastly, through the web page we can know when the sale promotion is going on by not wasting our times to shop through the branches of watsons to see when have promotion. Above are the reasons why I make a return visit.

3.7 Commerce

It is a business transaction capacity of a site which has the sale of goods, products, or services on the site and also along with shopping carts, shipping and payment options, checkout and order-confirmation functionality. There are 9 dimensions of commerce like registration, shopping cart, security, credit card approval, one-click shopping, order through affiliates, configuration technology, order tracking and delivery options. In this watsons web site it does not consist of the e-commerce which mean that it does not do any transaction through the web and it is only provide you the latest information and promotion for all the consumers to shop in every single branches of watsons.

Links to sites is the most suitable for this web site because it consists of a web page of “Site Map” which allow the users to access to another web page. (Refer to Graphic 3.6)

Communication refers to the dialogue between the web site and its user. It can be in 3 forms such as firm-to-user, user-to-firm and user-to-user. There are 3 dimensions of communication which are broadcast, interactive and hybrid. The most suitable to describe for this web site is broadcast. It is because is a one-way information exchange between firm and user and it also provides an e-mail newsletters for users to give any feedback, comment, any improvement in services and everything that relevant to watsons. (Refer to Graphic 3.5)

3.4 Customisation

For customisation is a site’s ability to modify itself to and it have 2 dimensions such as personalisation which manage by user and tailoring which manage by firm. The web page had shown the dimension of personalisation which allows users to key in their preferences content. For example, “Registration” that allows users to key in their personal information. (Refer to Graphic 3.4)

3.3 Community

The purpose of this community is to build a strong relationship between consumer and firm, and between consumer and consumer. It is also can create attractive content so consumer between can chats with each others and it can make certain activities possible or easier, thus satisfying needs not attainable individually. For example, “Tell A Friend” of this web page can let you send any messages to your friend also to firm. (Refer to Graphic 3.3)

3.2 Content

Content refers to any digital information included on a website. There are 3 types of dimensions of content which are offering mix, appeal mix and multimedia mix. The most suitable to describe watsons web site is multimedia mix because it consist of the variety of media like text, audio, image, graphic and video on it site. Besides dimensions, there also have 3 types of content. First is the time-sensitive content like joining a contest to win RM5,000. Secondly, reference content is a content that with a longer shelf life for example the link tag of “About Us” which content the history of watsons. Lastly, current content that is not require frequent updates for example the “BMI calculator” in the home page. (Refer to Graphic 3.2)

3.1 Context

The dimensions of context can divided into 2 which are aesthetics and functional. For this watsons web site it is most suitable to describe as the functional oriented site. There are 3 critical factors in the layout, first is the section breakdown which mean the site is organized into subcomponents and also with the build in an easy-to-understand navigation choices. Secondly, the linking structure which mean it is enables users to move easily or access those pages and quickly find what they want. Lastly, the navigation tools which facilities the movement of each user throughout the site. (Refer to Graphic 3.1)

2.3 Features of Poor Web Pages

The home page of this web site are showing too many of the focal points on the page such as many of the attracting words like what's hot, the great mid year sale, free, awards and so on. It will make visitors do not know which one to access. (Refer to Graphic 2.3)

The text for all the article of "Step Up Your Fitness Level" in the content part shown that font size is too small to read and not only that it also shown the text are fully type in upper case. (Refer to Graphic 2.2)

All the links tag show the default color of grey and the text for links that are not underlined so many of the visitors do not know they are links. This kind of case will make the visitors confusing in what text actually is link and what is actually not for link. (Refer to Graphic 2.1)

For the site map for this web site that allocates all the link to different pages in this web site have shown the links elements all in blue color and when you click the "Health Foods" it will become red in color then it will link to that page. (Refer to Graphic 1.3)

The navigation buttons and bars are easy to understand and use by visitors. It navigation is consistent in all single web pages of this web site. Besides that, with the navigation bars can allow the visitors to access to the page that they interesting about it such as pharmacy, health & wellness, beauty, toiletries, food & beverages, general merchandise and services. The text or font are easily to see and read by all the visitors because the background does not interrupt the text and it is also have a big enough font size for visitors to read. (Refer to Graphic 1.1)
